All of our Purely Headwear Range is designed and made here on-site in Oxfordshire; we closely follow the fashion trends to be able to give you the very latest fabrics and patterns to go with each season as it changes.
All of our headwear is designed to be flattering, yet ultra-comfortable as we know how important this is to customers who are long term wig wearers.
Our latest innovation, which is great for holidays is our purely fringe, constructed from supersoft jersey with an attached fringe, this can easily be worn underneath sun hats and bandanas to give the illusion of hair without the worry of a full wig.
Fringes are available in 6 colours and can be made to suit your requirements.

We charge a £25 consultation fee that is fully refundable against the cost of a wig or hairpiece.

Nichola Clamp of Capita had her own hair cut to raise money for Red Nose Day, we have paid £10 for the hair that was cut off and will use it to make wigs for those suffering from Medical Hair Loss. We were delighted to be able to sponsor the brave men and ladies who trekked to Everest base camp to raise funds for the Coventry based Children’s Christmas wish list charity. This charity raises funds for children who find themselves in hospital for long periods of time, a cause close to our hearts as we specialise in making wigs for children and young people so we were delighted to be able to help.
Craig Collins has told us ” we raised over £6,500 and are delighted to be able to use this to help those so much less fortunate than we are”

On Friday the 24th of October we supported the Wear it Pink Day, we all wore something pink, took part in a pink sweepstake, feasted on Krispy Kreme doughnuts and enjoyed pink manicures all in order to raise funds for this very worthwhile charity.
We raised a grand total of £53, a big thank you to everyone that supported the day
We saw a customer today who was looking to replace her Custom Made, 100% human hair wig, we are hand making the base and silk lining in the UK, we have hand prepared all of the hair in a light blonde 16″ length and are hand knotting the wig here at Banbury all for a cost of just £1,340+vat, where else in the UK can you find a 100% hand made in the UK product for this price. the wig should last for around 3 – 5 years with proper aftercare. Jane Jones came over from Jersey to take our commercial influences in wig making Level 2 course, so that she can offer a much needed professional wig service to the beautiful Island of Jersey.
